BIONICC BODY SCREENING
We are the first MRI full body screening center in Michigan and located in Southfield. The inception of our service is deeply personal. Our founder, Dr. Ringold, was galvanized into action following his own experience with advanced cancer. Surviving stage four cancer only to face it again when it resurged as a brain tumor, Dr. Ringold endured the ravages of the disease and its severe aftermath. His journey, though extraordinary, mirrors the stories of too many. He founded Bionicc Body Screening because he wanted to give individuals the power to be proactive with their health care and the opportunity to avoid the brutal journey he suffered due to late detection.
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the body's internal structures. Our whole body screenings cover a large area with several body regions in only about 70 minutes. It is a noninvasive, highly sensitive screening that is safe with no exposure to ionizing radiation (unlike x-rays and CT scans).

That means Stage 2, 3, or 4 cancers are rarely discovered until late when symptoms have developed, and they are no longer highly curable. When cancer imaging is finally covered by insurance after stage 1, the cancer is much less likely to be resolved and requires much more intensive therapy.
